Let me assist you. There are 3 common protocols for synchronization of emails to mail clients. These are POP/SMTP, IMAP and EAS. The latter has the ability to synchronize not just the mail but the calendar and contacts as well. Outlook.com is capable of supporting these protocols but to work properly, it has to be set up on a device/mail client that can also support such protocols. IPhone can support EAS that is why it can also sync your calendar. We’re not sure about iMac. Please check if it’s capable of EAS and if so, you may have to manually configure your Outlook.com on it to specifically use the EAS protocol The information you’ll need for EAS are: • Server address: s.outlook.com • Domain: • User name: Your email address • Password: Your password • TLS/SSL encryption required: Yes Should you have further/other concern, please let us know. Yes I've managed to sync the calendars onto my iPhone but I haven't been able to do that on my iMac. Does outlook.com support the calendar app on the iMac?
